I have called on this 6 times in the last 6 days and have received no intelligible response, only lies and conflicting stories from your tech support. My pc was authorized for service 11/10. It is 11/20 and I have yet to receive a call from the onsite service agent. I was told typical response is 2-3 days.
What is their name/phone number so I can call them? Believe it or not, I do want to use my cdrom.
What is compaqs policy for system replacement? This is the third part/replacement for this computer in 8 months. This hunk of junk is either a) a lemon or b)typical of compaq quality. I want a pc that doesn't have a major part failure every two months. So since I tend to think you'd agree this system is a lemon, please let me know when the replacement will be authorized. Otherwise I will take three critical failures in 8 months as being par for compaq and note this on my website (which is receiving 100-120 hits per day).
NOTICE THAT THEY DO NOT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE ME BY MY FIRST NAME. THEY THINK THEY ARE SO HIGH AND MIGHTY THAT THEY ONLY ACKNOWLEDGE FAMILY NAMES. They simple dismiss me to contact an ASC, which I proceed to explain will charge me labor for a computer under full onsite warranty in that case. They want me to pay out of pocket for their apathy.
MY RESPONSE TO THIS GARBAGE:
The last time I contacted an authorized service center I was charged for labor before I could pickup my pc.
They did not do what the tech suggested ie replace the hard drive and motherboard. they replaced the power supply instead and as a result I still have these problems today. ASC said that my warranty does not provide for authorized service center labor, only parts.

What about the other items I asked about. Is your company's policy that 3 replacements in 8 months equates as typical compaq quality? Who can I contact that will actually help get this issue resolved? The autoreply I received said that I would be receiving a response to resolve this problem.
